Lesson Guide
Explanation
This is a full-length Mathematical Reasoning paper in the official format: 35 questions, 40 minutes, five options each, no calculator and no penalty for wrong answers. Every strand appears, shuffled, and many questions carry a diagram — read the figure before the words. Open the Quiz and answer all 35 in one sitting. The real paper allows 40 minutes — put a clock or phone in front of you if you want that pressure, but nothing here is timed for you, and no answer is submitted automatically. Aim to finish first; later, aim to finish with minutes spare.
Your Turn
Say the routine once before you start: read the figure, find what one gap or one part is worth, answer the question that was actually asked.
Watch Out
Do the whole paper in one sitting. Marking as you go breaks the timing practice.
Explanation
The score is the least useful thing the paper tells you. Sort every question into three piles: wrong, lucky (guessed right) and slow (right but over two minutes). For each question in the first two piles, name the strand, redo it with the method, and open the matching lesson in this class. The slow pile is next week's speed target. Do this within a day of the paper while the reasoning is still fresh.
Your Turn
Write the strand names of your wrong and lucky questions on one line. That line is the study plan.
Watch Out
Do not re-sit the same paper the next day — you will remember answers, not methods. Wait at least two weeks.
📌 Key Points — this lesson in a nutshell
  • 35 questions, 40 minutes, A–E, no calculator, no penalty — answer everything.
  • Read the figure first, then the words. Work out what one gap, one part or one symbol is worth before touching the pointer.
  • The real paper allows 40 minutes — time yourself if you want it; the Quiz never times you.
  • Afterwards: wrong, lucky and slow piles — name the strand of each and open that lesson.
Step 1: Introduction
Step 1 of 2
Sample Test 1 35 questions every strand, shuffled 40 minutes the real paper’s limit A–E, one correct exactly like the real paper No calculator, no penalty answer every question Open the Quiz and answer all 35 questions in one sitting. Just over a minute a question. Flag the slow ones and come back.
Three piles, then one lesson each Wrong name the strand, redo it with the method, find the lesson Lucky guessed right — counts as wrong, redo it too Slow right but over 2 minutes — that is the next speed target Score is the least useful number. The strand list is the plan for next week.
